Lumpectomy today 2/8/2021

So my operation had been brought forward by 8 days after a cancellation and re-jigging of appointments.

Im currently sat in bed drinking a black tea before the cut off point of 6.30am.

I’m apprehensive but want the cancer gone. I’m having my sentinel node removed too as we believe that the cancer hasn’t gone that far. Praying that that is still the case.

I will see you on the other side

Good luck, will be thinking about you. I had my surgery on Thursday sounds like the same as you and wanted to say you will be fine. I’ve been back at home since Friday and no pain just a bit uncomfortable at times and tired so let everybody take care of you when you get home xx

Good luck, having the same op on the 11th, and will probably freak out on the day, but this forum has helped, reading what everyone else has been through and how well they're doing.

It will be over before you know it.
