Chemo and cold cap

thank you for responding, it doesn't help to know that you lost your hair, but it does help knowing that you wanted to help ease my resentment, so even bigger hugs right back at you xx

Hi - I had my first chemo session this morning and tried the cold cap. As a migraine sufferer the nurses weren’t sure I should try it but I said I wanted to give it a go! I only lasted a couple of minutes before a migraine started so it was whipped off immediately. I’m glad I tried it but now need to come to terms with potential hair loss.

I tried the cold cap for just the one session it was absolutely fine but unfortunately it didn't work for me my hair started to fall out so I decided to shave it off. To be honest I thought loosing my hair would bother me but it didn't, its bothered me more loosing my eye lashes. The injections are simple so dont worry about that.i have two more cycles to go then I have radiotherapy. Good luck on your decision. X

Same here. My poor eyes. I don't mind being bald anywhere else other than the eyes. You can't cover those up easily. x
