No Biopsy results an appt instead

Oh dear that's not good.  I had a results appointment given for a week later when I had biopsy.  I got very agitated when at my 3 year check up they biopsied my good boob.  Its was a Monday and said they would ring with results on Friday.  No call came so I summoned my courage to ring and to be told "oh biopsy is fine but we didn't ring you because we want to make another appointment to repeat tests and struggling to find appointment".  Hello I think the results of biopsy important.  The promised call for following Monday didn't come either but Tuesday a letter with appointment for breast surgeon in a couple of weeks!!  What!!  I rang my BC nurse and she said letter for appointment with surgeon is standard even when it's only for a mammogram which is what I was booked in for.  She said she'd find me earlier appointment.  So another week later I had repeat mammogram and whatever they had seen previously and biopsied was gone so they said it was just a bruise!

Well the strange thing was that phone call did make me sigh some relief to a point but I am pushing for biopsy results or I told them I won’t be attending and I rang my doctor who said ring the patient liaison team so I did as another 4 weeks is not on I’ve now requested biopsy results via letter we are not guinea pigs we are human beings , I don’t want to feel like I’m just a number , they need to change the system
