I had my first docetaxel and cyclophosphamide 7 days ago. I also had a Lapelga injection to boost my immunity the following day. I’m having lots of bone & muscle pain, especially at night. I was given codene for pain, but not comfortable taking that especially if I need it everyday. Using Tylenol at night. Anyone else dealing with this? Sometimes I just want to quit this horrible treatment. I will need 4 cycles, but not sure how I’ll get through it.
HI AHS,
I HAD DOCETAXEL TREATMENT WAS SUPPOSE TO HAVE 4 TREATMENTS BUT LAST ONE CANCELLED, DUE TO ME GETTING PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY PINS NEEDLES IN MY FEET AND HANDS, I ALSO GOT STRESS FRACTURES IN SOME BONES, ITS 3 MONTHS SINCE MY TREATMENTS FINISHED AND STILL HAVE P N - I WOULD SAY IF YOU CANNOT WEIGHT BEAR ON A LEG- THEN TELL ONCOLOGY AND IF YOU GET P N- IT IS A STRONG DRUG- BUT ALL OUR BODIES ARE DIFFERENT - I DO WISH NOW I HAD STOPPED IT AFTER THE 2 TREATMENT, IT PARTLY STRUCK MY SMALL BREAST TUMOR- BUT DIDNT KILL THE CANCER IN MY LYMPH NODES, I HAD LYMPH NODE CLEARANCE AND CANCER WAS FOUND STILL IN 3- THEY ARE NOW OUT OF MY BODY , AND MIR AND CT SCANS SHOWED NO CANCER ELSE WHERE, BUT FOR YOUR SELF IT MIGHT CLEAR ALL YOUR CANCER -I HOPE SO,
