Hi am new here I got diagnosed with breast cancer a week ago and am waiting for a mri and a ct scan
Sorry to hear of your diagnosis but you have come to the right place for help and support. There are lots of threads to follow for information and if you have questions or concerns, people can often share their experiences. Best wishes as you wait for results, I found that very hard
Hi your not alone I had my results Monday now waiting for ct results and I need to have a bone scan next week it's horrendous the wait is awful I feel I can't cope so I know how you feel, I cry alot and I mean alot out of shear frustration and the not knowing, i talk constantly about it because I can think of nothing else! You are not alone believe me I know what your going through and I feel for you but stay strong they say on here the waiting is the hard bit I pray they are right

Keep strong and positive. The mri isn't pleasant but at least its short. Take some foam ear buds to put in under the headphones they give you as it will help withthe noise. Ask them to tell you when you can have a little wriggle, in between them setting the machine up otherwise you will get a little uncomfortable.
Nothing hurts with breast cancer and everyone is so nice.
It's a journey and there may be times when it seems long, after just having my first round of pre surgery chemo last week ive just for the first time in my life learnt to stop fighting and just let it happen.
