My mum has just had her last of her 3 weekly EC cycles and from 29th July she begins weekly Paclitaxel for either 9 or 12 weeks depending on how she copes with it. At the moment she takes steroids for 3 days, antiobiotics for 10 days, then 5 daily injections for her white blood count (I think) then mouth thrush antiobiotics. All worked really well for the EC cycles. So I now need to think how I support her moving into the weekly sessions (I live away). Can anyone share what drug regimes they have/had on the weekly pacilataxel, and particularly do you have any of the injections and from when? She’s going to ask chemo nurse on Thursday when she goes in for a line flush but just trying to think ahead. Thanks in advance. Lisa

I don't have the experience you need but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. This is probably because this is such a busy group that your post has fallen off the first page before someone with the right experience has seen it. Replying to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list where it'll be more easily spotted.
Hopefully your mum's chemo nurse has been able to answer all your questions but nothing beats hearing from people who have actually had the treatment.
