Hi everyone, I’ve been on tamoxifen for about 6 weeks so far. I feel very fortunate that I do not seem to be suffering with the main side effects, but I am struggling with tiredness and awful skin about time of the month.
As I had to gone off my contraceptive pill as well I’m struggling with abdominal cramping, even when I’m not on my period, it’s agony and stops me doing my daily things.
If anyone has any suggestions of things that have helped them, it would be greatly appreciated x
Hi
I'm sorry to read how you're struggling since you've been taking tamoxifen. Have you spoken to your BCNS about this?
Although I don't have the experience you're looking for I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. This is possibly because this is such an active group that your post has slipped off the first page before someone who can help has seen it. Replying to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list.
If you don't get any replies you could also post your question in the ask a nurse section of the online community and one of the specialist nurses will reply within 3 working days. If this is something that you think might help clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there.
I do hope you can find something that will help with the cramps.

There's this thread too:
i posted on this one as was interested too.
Thank you. I was going to chat with her yesterday but been identified as a direct contact so need to get tested before I can go to my appointment. X
It never rains but it pours
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.x
I’m sure it will be. We no longer have to isolate if we are direct, so praying it’s negative x
I didn't think that came in until 16th August unless I've misunderstood what you meant by 'direct contact'

I live in Jersey so they changed it Sunday night, even though cases are rising. We only need to isolate if we have symptoms. Crazy idea!
Ah, ha! That would explain it.
