Breast reduction after right side masectomy

I can't help with any experiences of whether to have a breast reduction or not but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. This is probably because this is such an active group that it has slipped off the first page before anyone with the experience you need has seen it. I just had a breast reduction and lift as part of a lumpectomy. I'm promised the other side will be done 6 weeks after radiotherapy, theatre slots allowing. Not helpful for you I guess but just wondering if I can help at all?

Hi I had a left therapeutic mammoplasty and sentinel lymph node biopsy and right breast reduction done two weeks ago surgeon chose this for me for my type of cancer etc . And I was 38 E and he gave me lift and breast tuck on both breast at the same time and the difference already i feel is so good . I know not same as yourself but thought with me also large breast might help the lift is definitely worth it . Only you can decide the right thing for your body . I’m Northern Ireland and was done same day 4,5 hours operation maybe each hospital different. I get my results tomorrow to see wat treatment etc I may need .
