Radiotherapy

I think it was about 3 weeks but that was in 2022. It’s important they get the planning right. That’s the highly skilled bit, and this is peak summer holiday time. Please try not to worry.

Thank you for that . I mentioned to my oncologist that I had a holiday booked for 1st September ( booked prior to diagnosis ) and she said I would be finished long before that but time is ticking . Ill keep my fingers crossed 

Do you know how many days of radiotherapy you will be having? Mine was only 5 days. I was advised to stay out of swimming pools for a few days after treatment, but my skin rash / peeling didn’t appear until 5 or 6 weeks after treatment. 

Yes mine is only 5 days and I’m prepared with factor 50 big shirts to cover up and no swimming . I’ve been really looking forward to it after such a rough few months .
