I've just been diagnosed with an invasive NST grade 2 and now that the bruising from the biopsy has faded, I've noticed that the skin over the tumor is white. I have had that white patch for a really long time and it never ever occurred to me it could be breast cancer - I thought it was an old mark from chicken pox or something. I am now really worried that the white patch is cancer related because I have a similar white patch a bit further to the right under my arm.
Has anyone else had a white patch of skin over the area of their lump? I am now absolutely terrified that I have skin metastasis. Has anyone had any experience of this?
Hi Lil41
Sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with Breast and welcome to the forum. I suggest that you ring your Breast Care Nurse and they should be able to answer your question about the white patches.
Best wishes
Daisy
