Hello everyone,
I'm Steph from the Community team, I hope you don't mind me posting here.

Hi all,
Second EC done this afternoon. Went a bit quicker than last time which was good. Came home and made dinner / cleared up before finally flipping out at husband for not helping me! Oops.
Felt quite sleepy after the treatment and the fuzzy head is starting now. I’m armed with laxido and prunes etc so the fight against constipation starts now! Fingers crossed for plain sailing.
Hope everyone else who had treatment is doing ok and good luck to those of you having yours tomorrow.
Ruby xx
One day at a time.
Well done Ruby! Sounds like you are doing really well.
I took 4 sachets of Movicol the day of treatment and the days I took anti-nausea drugs then reduced to two sachets for 3 days and that kept me moving
Hope the next few days are kind to you
Lynne
Hi everyone
well done redruby on your second EC glad your feeling ok. I got the good to go with bloods today for my first docetaxel tomorrow a bit apprehensive because I’ve not had that one I had very few SE with EC so fingers crossed for this one. Wish this runny nose would go it’s driving me nuts. Good luck everyone who has treatnpment this week.

Hi Anne, good luck for tomorrow! I would be interested to hear how you get on with Docetaxel as I am due to switch from FEC and have lots of concerns...
Hope all goes well xx
Many thanks
Lynne
Well done Ruby, another one in the bag. Indulge the fuzzy head X
Hi Lynn

Take care Anne x
Hi Anne, are the steroids for nausea?
Many thanks
Lynne
Hi Ruby,
Hope all goes well for you and you don’t have so many SE as last time. Fingers crossed for the laxido.
Bluebell xx
Good luck with 1st Docetaxel Diamondgirl. I’m day 9 of my 1st one and beginning to come out of SE. Very different from EC for me, no nausea or gastric reflux. Definitely more tired and more aches and pains than on EC but on the whole manageable with pain relief. I still had constipation but was more easily managed. Tummy a bit unhappy but much less than on EC. We are all different though and you might have very little so wishing you minimal and manageable SE.
Still got a runny nose though
Well done another one ticked off, hope SE are minimal and manageable, rest up for a few days as best you can
