Breast Cancer

Hi , I see you have not yet had a reply. A lot of people on the forum have had chemotherapy first, and found that the tumour(s) have shrunk by the end if it, giving them better options. Sorry cannot think of their names to tag them, but hopefully they will see the post and reply. Good luck.

Hi , welcome to the group. I was also diagnosed with invasive ductal breast cancer last October. I have completed 3 of 6 chemo sessions and had an ultrasound last Monday to check progress. I have one lump in my breast and a smaller one in my lymph node. Both have shrunk to half their original size so far. All looking positive for a lumpectomy, fingers crossed. I had 7 chemos before surgery and my lumps completely disappeared as did the cells in my lymph node. What type of BC do you have?

I have Cancer in my left breast, cells in my lymph nodes and in my armpit,

They have found might abit on my liver & ovaries but need test,

Having chemotherapy,   EC 3 wks more phases,

Worse case is might have to my left breast removed but hopeful not,

Waiting  for surgery about 7 months time,
