i just wanted to know if anyone has been through this. I had mastectomy then chemo in 2017 and been on tomoxifen since then. Over last couple of months I felt a small swelling under my arm , same side as previous treatment. Had ultrasound yesterday and looks like one enlarged node and judging by the scan and the dr’s comment it looks like it’s cancerous.
They took biopsy and said would take nearly two weeks to come back to me , after results and MDT meeting.
my question is, has anyone else had this and what treatment did you have and was it successful? And did you have any other symptoms?
obviously, I’m really disappointed and scared but wanted to know if this is common?

I'm sorry to read that after going through treatment for breast cancer 3 years ago it looks like it could be back again.
I haven't been in your position but I noticed that your post hadn't had any responses yet. This is likely to be because it's a very busy group and your post has slipped down the list of discussions.
