  • Hi Purple

Welcome to the forum, I'm Daisy53 one of the Community Champions on this forum.  I'm sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer.  I was diagnosed with breast cancer in both of my breasts nearly three years ago.  I had to have surgery, chemo and radiotherapy.  I finished my treatment nearly two years ago and I've been cancer free since.

When you are having your chemo make sure to drink plenty of fluids to help flush out your body and try to get out in the fresh air for a walk everyday even if only for a short one.

Wishing you the best of luck with your treatment and with your scan.

    Best wishes

  • Hi

I am so sorry you find yourself here. The period of having yet more tests is so stressful and it’s horrible not knowing the full story. I have metastatic (stage 4) TNBC and I really thought my number was up when deposits were first found in my liver. But I am here, healthy, living a good life. It’s a case of taking things one day at a time and trying to enjoy what’s in front of you rather than what the future might bring. Treatment has come on a lot in recent years and you won’t get all the listed side effects, or have them all the time. It will get easier once you have started treatment.
