Update: not triple negative or anything too bad. Still T1N0 so hopefully simple treatment with wide local excision and sentinel biopsy. Best result I could have hoped for!! Thank you everyone
I totally understand the feeling of waiting for the MRI results (that was me last month!) and also made the decision not to tell people at work (other than my bosses who are being wonderful - I had only started my new job a week before when I found out too!).
I tried to think of getting the MRI as a positive thing, it meant I was being fully checked and the uncertainty of what the lump was when I originally found it was now over and it was onto the next stage. It didn’t take away the nerves on appointment day though but they will have a plan in place regardless of what the results show and you will be well looked after.
