Hello, everyone, I have been diagnosed with DCIS and had surgery last week to remove this and reconstruct the boob. I think I over did it and had a delayed bleed - probably the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced and felt like I was going to faint. Has anyone else experienced this and how long did it take to correct itself. My breast consultant said it should right itself but will delay the healing. Feeling so angry with myself now as I am sure I was trying to ‘run before I could walk’ so to speak.
HiGranny to Reo so sorry to hear this and hope you're beginning to recover now. It's easy to overdo things so please try not to be too hard on yourself. This does sound like a bit of a unique scenario, but don't forget the lovely folks at MacMillan are at the end of the phone on 0800 808 0000 if you want to chat anything through. Best wishes.
