Has anyone else on here had a triple negative diagnosis, wondered what my treatment route might be. Hopefully I will get more information soon from hospital.
Hi everyone has anyone finished Abraxane for triple neg breast cancer and their knees were not normal walking became difficult and use of hands can barely write
Hi Missy01
I didn't have Abraxane but I'm sorry to read how much you're suffering with side effects. I assume you've spoken to your oncologist about this?
It would probably be better to start your own post as then you stand the most chance of others in the group seeing your question.
I hope your knees and hands improve soon.
Hi Dottie123
Hope you are well. I did find EC a bit tougher mainly feeling nausea which I never had on Taxol but I took the extra anti sickness which helped. Plus every 3 weeks is much better! I have finished now and having lumpectomy on 3 June. Feeling really good now and so will you. Take care xx
Hi BAC52
I am doing ok thank you. I have just finished my weekly treatment. I start my EC on Thursday I am a little nervous hoping it doesn't hit me too hard but I am so looking forward to having a bigger gap in between.
I am so glad you are feeling good you are doing fabulous.
Sending love
Hi Louise
I found the first session hard the not knowing but the nurses was so lovely they put me at ease. I think I was more nervous about the cold cap because I was told about the side effects of chemo but wasn't sure how i would cope with the cap but it was ok.
I am doing good I start my EC with Pembro Thursday looking forward to having that longer gap in between.
Louise xx
Well done for getting through all them weekly treatments. Yeah the 2 weekly gap seems nice to have a break in between. I’ve read from other people the EC just makes you very tired but for the week instead of a couple of days but you never know everyone’s different. How did you do overall with side effects on the weekly treatment.
Louise
I found I had more side effects when I had the pac and carb together then just pac on its own.
Overall the 12 weeks I had two weeks off due to my bloods not recovering and it was always after the pac and carb. At the time I was gutted just wanted to get on with it but mentally I needed it just one week break made a big difference.
Louise xx
