Hi, I have zoledronic acid infusion (known as Zometa) every 6 months,  I had terrible flu symptoms after the first one but have been totally fine after all the others. Best wishes 

No, denosumab isn’t a bisphosphonate  

I’m not a medical expert so I’d rather not explain the difference in case I get it wrong but your BCN or doctor can tell you or you can look on the NHS website.
