Lumpectomy

  1. Good morning my mother had a lumpectomy 9 days ago. She’s doing really well and never complains. There is a lot of bruising and her main dressing came off two days ago . She has steri strips on still . She’s felt unwell overnight the breast hurts she thinks the steri strips are too tight but I’m worried it’s too early to take them off ?

    glad to hear your mum is doing well.

    everyone heals differently but I took my steri strips off in the shower after 9 days to find I had healed well, like your mum the strips were driving me mad, it was a huge relief to get rid of them.
