Dear All, I am just starting my journey so still a bit of shock. Am awaiting biopsy results but they have told me to prepare for a cancer diagnosis. I do hope I can offer some support to you all, sending lots of love and healing hugs xxx

  • Hi sparkleandshine,

Welcome to the forum noone would volunteer to be on.

The waiting is the worst. It is quite scary when you are unsure of prognosis and treatment plans available.

Be kind to yourself, take time to yourself to have little treats.

I was diagnosed May had my op in June, chemo July till September then radiotherapy October. Now having bone infusions 6 monthly and daily Letrozole.

Once diagnosed and treatment plan in place I felt more in control again. Once treatments start you move quite quickly which was reassuring for me.

I hope you get your diagnosis soon and if needed your treatment plan. Use this forum for support as we are all at different parts of our recovery but there's always someone with same diagnosis or further alone in treatment to offer support and hopefully answer some questions.

Please make use of the macmillan sites or cancer care also.

Happy to answer any questions I can that you may find helpful.

Good luck on your recovery journey xx
