can anyone give me any advice on questions etc to ask or what i should expect from my oncology appointment. Feeling a bit overwhelmed
Hi maybe write a list of what you need to ask, I didn’t hear a a word they told me at that first appointment when I was diagnosed, it best if you can take some one with you on the day,it’s always gong to be a shock but the breast clinic will be honest with you and will be there to help you ️️

Hi Gardenflower,
I am also her2neg. I have had my lumpectomy and removal of sentinels in June this year. Chemo between July and September. Have just finished radiotherapy last week. Now on Letrozole and having a bone infusion today then 6 monthly.
.Most of my questions were round about treatment plan and how I would keep myself as healthy as possible.
Write down any question that pops into your head. There are no silly questions. Happy to answer any on my experience so far.
Stay away from Google ask your team any questions you have.
Take care and good luck on your recovery journey. Xx
Hi , it’s a lot to get your head around and it also takes a while to sink in as everything happens so quick, but looking back for me even though I felt bombarded with phone calls from hospital and hospital appointments ,but as time goes on its better for me I realised it’s better that way to just get it done, I’m still a bit all over the place to be honest but then I have good days and bad days, if you need to cry then cry and let it all out , i wish you luck and i hope it all goes smoothly for you as much as it can do , all the best xx
