I had the EC July to September this year. Tell your consultant about the nausea. I had a tablet then a 15minute IV infusion before receiving the EC then 2 different types of antisickness tablets one for 3 days after the other for 5days after. This was a lot of antisickness medications but it kept my nausea at bay. The headaches faded after day 5 of treatment. I took effervescent paracetamol for them.

I had 3 cycles of EC but fortunately didn't suffer with headaches or sickness.

Like Missymolly, I had tablets and an infusion before the drug was given and was sent home with a packet of anti sickness meds in case of need.

Assuming you've been given the anti sickness meds and they haven't worked, give your chemo hotline number a call and they can try you on different ones.
