Hi All, I wondered if anyone could advise on any breast cancer support groups they know of or have been to in the Market Harborough Leicestershire area. I was with breast cancer in July this year. Just had chemo number 1 this week and feel Id like to meet other women in person for a chat, support, … anything really. I’m in my early 40’s and have amazing family and friends around me ….but no one who has been through cancer. Would appreciate any guidance in trying to navigate this new world I’ve been thrown into. Hi Nicky26,

Sorry I'm not from your area. I'm in Scotland I found the macmillan site really helpful you can phone or chat online.

I also used cancer care for counselling and still receiving reikki.

You can also register on the look good feel good site and attend make up sessions with lots of tips and freebies. I found this helpful lots of ladies all at different stages of treatments to chat to. They also do hair, scalp and wig groups and hand and nail groups.

Have a look online and register. Then you might meet others from your area who have arranged meeting group.

I wish you well with your treatment. I had my last chemo today and got to ring the bell. Onto radiotherapy next
