Hi, I’ve just been diagnosed. I’m having a wide incision in two weeks then chemo , followed by radiation. I’m worried as I’ve read some have chemo first. Does mine sound right having it after? thanks .
Hi Lana, that's good to know as my chemo is before my lumpectomy and I had the same concerns as to why it was that way round and not surgery first. This forum is really helpful so far. Thanks
You are very welcome, Jet55! It's difficult, especially right after the shock of being diagnosed with breast cancer! Everybody struggles more or less while trying to accept what is going on with their bodies! Things appear to be out of your control, but it gets much better with time!
