Hi, I'm due to start Docetaxol this Friday 1st of 3 I've heard compression socks and gloves can help prevent nerve damage in hands and feet. Has anyone used this and its helped or can recommend any to buy. Also what vitamins csn help. Thanks.
Hi Mammaru, I had 4 cycles of Docetaxol and didn’t use and cold mittens or socks. I just used the scalp cooling cap. I did get a bit of peripheral neuropathy but it has been temporary. As for taking vitamins and supplements I would check this with your BCN or oncologist. The best way really to get what you need is to eat a good varied diet but I know that can be more challenging when on chemo. Wishing you all the best. Hugs from cuffcake x x x x x
