Hello

I’m new to the group and was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, will be 2 years 8 months ago.
I would like to chat to others with similar diagnosis as although I got good results from my 3 monthly MRI today I just seem to be struggling atm

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

That's great to read that you have recently had good results from your MRI but we all have times when we struggle.

As the online community is divided up into different support groups I'm going to recommend that you also join and post in the secondary breast cancer group as that will give you the chance to connect directly with others who have this type of cancer. There you can ask questions, share experiences and give and receive support.

If you'd like to join the group, just click on the link I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

When you feel up to it, it would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
