Just diagnosed

The waiting is horrible isn’t it 

apparently the CT scan wait here is now 6 weeks according to BCN 

Good luck for next week and I totally agree with you about trying to trust in your medics who get everything together to make the best plan for you

Firstly let me say hello and welcome.

My diagnosis isn't the same as yours but I truly understand your concerns, fear and apprehension - if I have got anything from being part of this group, I have learnt that everything you are feeling is absolutely natural. But.......I get it.....you fear the worst, you are here because you may feel lonely, you want to shout, scream and cry....do it, please do it. We all feel like our world has ended when we hear this news, but have faith that you are not alone honey.

It will seem a long way off, but there is light at the end of the tunnel and there are some wonderful people in this group that can help you - it's the one thing we all have in common and sharing experiences helps.

My diagnosis was on the 18th November and the waiting game is very frustrating, but don't feel your on your own, you really are not.

Thanks L it is the most frustrating thing ever and you feel so out of control, but 4 more sleeps. It’s almost weekend so that will keep me busy and I booked a holiday for after my scan may as well enjoy the sunshine while waiting again for results.

Im trying to keep busy then it all comes back and slaps me in the face but just got to keep on keeping on huh  
I decided to start painting the lounge , husband is bemused

Haha you do right something to keep you occupied, but yes I know what you mean its always there lurking in the back of your mind ready to leap forward. 

I've got my grand baby coming tomorrow so he will keep me on my toes then it'll be packing and sorting, cleaning and washing so plenty to keep me going for now.
