Hi, I've been diagnosed with IDC grade 2
ER + HER2 - so it's very treatable. I've been given my lumpectomy, nodes removed date of 18th October
I'm feeling like it's my husband who has been diagnosed as he wont talk about it. I feel I'm coping well with the news. It's him I'm worried about. Are any of you ladies partners reaction the same.
Hi Siddysue it's funny how we are all so different. With me neither I nor my husband spoke about it which I was absolutely fine about. For me talking about it with someone who can't help and who isn't going through what I am going through felt pointless and would just have made me feel worse and I imagine it was the same for my husband and probably yours too.
Talking about it with people on this site though helped me hugely. I would see if you can persuade your husband to join the carers only forum on here and see if that gives him any support or comfort. Talking with people who are going through what you are going through can sometimes be the only thing that helps. Click HERE to go straight to the carers only forum.
Wishing you all the best on your journey and your husband too x
