Hi there,
I had FNA on Saturday which shown breast cancer cells within what was originally thought of as a cluster of cysts.
Am now waiting for core biopsies , with no date yet but have also found a lump in the other breast and have Dr appt later today. Having a bit of a bad day and my imagination is going wild!
Hi WMK
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that your FNA showed breast cancer cells. It's perfectly understandable that you are having a bad day and that your imagination is going wild waiting for results is hard.
Wishing you the best of luck with your biopsies when you have them.
Best wishes

Wishing you all the best!!
Thank you so much for your reply and welcome. I was having a bit of a melt down hence a badly phrased and slightly hysterical chat, but what a relief to have somewhere to write thoughts and feelings which are ( sadly) understood by other people .
Thank you again
Thank you for your reply and welcome. I am feeling much better again now, after a slightly hysterical moment, and it was helpful to have somewhere to turn to. I am sure I will be using your tips on coping frequently in the next few weeks, while awaiting results and treatment plans.
Thank you again
Hi Jayne,
Thank you for sharing that. Glad your surgery has been completed and I hope you don't have to wait too long for your results. All the best for those. It's all the waiting which seems to be so stressful.
Take care
Wmk it's all stress isn't it , don't worry to much that's you have more than one lump the treatment is the same just a little bit more as it's on both sides ! Doctors were not concerned that I had two tumors they said it's just a little unfortunate! Too bloody right it was unfortunate but it hasn't really made much difference to me I still needed surgery and I will still need either chemo or radiation so it's just two birds with one stone really X
