I'm starting chemo on Thursday. 23 mm tumour found at a regular mammagram. Still in a whirl after two months of scans and appointments. So shocked that I hadn't felt it.
Thinking about you and your treatment. I'm waiting to see if I also need chemo I have had my surgery I found one lump in my breast and the doctor found another one much bigger ! I know how you feel I just couldn't understand how I had a big lump and I didn't know !! Nevertheless surgery went ok just hoping that if I need chemo it will go as well x take care
Jayne
Thankyou......It helps to know that I am not alone. Best wishes.
I'm one week post surgery, my lump was nearly the top, quite near the surface so I found it early. I'm having radiotherapy, ill get all the results on Friday if I need chemotherapy. I hope not but I'm prepared for it. I hope your treatment goes well x
Hi Roselily and Cosmossy, we will walk this journey together and with others . Surgery, treatment, results and aftercare . And then life back ,I find myself banging on about Christmas all the time but it's keeping me going as by then I will be better so planning to light my house and garden up like Blackpool illuminations ! Will do a coffee morning for Macmillan around that time we should pick a date and have a virtual one together X Jayne
I love fairy lights. Cheers the soul up. Can imagine it’s gonna be beautiful. Taking pleasure in the little things. What life is all about.
Had my first chemotherapy session. Was ok and apart from heavy head and feeling tired am ok. Agreed to let 2 medical students watch. They were a welcome diversion and were very interested to hear my journey so far. Also my nurse explained everything again with interesting extras about changes that happened last year because of covid.
Hope the rest of you feel ok too.
Hi, I'm seeing the chemo nurses for the first time on Monday so we will be doing this journey together. It is a whirl isn't it. I had a large lump which I had previously been told was just fibrous tissue and then they found 2 other areas.
I hope everything goes well for you on Thursday.
Best wishes
