I'm starting chemo on Thursday. 23 mm tumour found at a regular mammagram. Still in a whirl after two months of scans and appointments. So shocked that I hadn't felt it.

  • Hi Cosmossy

Welcome and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer and have to have chemo.

Wishing you the best of luck with your chemo and hopefully you won’t have any side effects from your treatment.

    Best wishes

Thinking about you and your treatment. I'm waiting to see if I also need chemo  I have had my surgery   I found one lump in my breast and the doctor found another one much bigger ! I know how you feel I just couldn't understand how I had a big lump and I didn't know !! Nevertheless surgery went ok just hoping that if I need chemo it will go as well x take care

I'm one week post surgery,  my lump was nearly the top, quite near the surface so I found it early. I'm having radiotherapy,  ill get all the results on Friday if I need chemotherapy. I hope not but I'm prepared for it. I hope your treatment goes well x

I love fairy lights.  Cheers the soul up.  Can imagine it’s gonna be beautiful.   Taking pleasure in the little things.  What life is all about. Blush

  • Had my first chemotherapy session. Was ok and apart from heavy head and feeling tired am ok. Agreed to let 2 medical students watch. They were a welcome diversion and were very interested to hear my journey so far. Also my nurse explained everything again with interesting extras about changes that happened last year because of covid.

Hope the rest of you feel ok too.

Hi, I'm seeing the chemo nurses for the first time on Monday so we will be doing this journey together. It is a whirl isn't it. I had a large lump which I had previously been told was just fibrous tissue Tired face and then they found 2 other areas.

I hope everything goes well for you on Thursday.

    Best wishes

Good to know that you're ok after the first session. I'm seeing the chemo nurses for the first time on Monday so I'm not far behind you.

Hope the rest of your sessions go well.
