Hi I have stage 1, grade 2 HER2+ ER+ breast cancer. I am having a lumpectomy and sentinel nodes removed on Tuesday and then radiotherapy in 6 weeks, chemotherapy and treatment with Herceptin. I would love to hear from women who have had this same kind of regimen, what was your experience, could you lead a relatively normal life in between doses? I know everyone reacts differently. I am going to need Herceptin treatment once every three weeks for a year apparently. Will I just feel crap one day every three weeks or all the time? Can you travel during this year in between treatment sessions? I would be so grateful for any feedback as this is one area the breast cancer nurse seems really evasive about!
