Recently diagnosed with breast cancer.  Numerous mammograms and biopsies.

Operation on 14/9 hoping not a mastectomy but not guaranteed.

I have so many silly questions and I guess I'm panicking

  • Hi , welcome to the forum and I am so sorry you find yourself here.

No question is silly so make sure you ask all the questions you need.  It's a shock when you first get diagnosed so it might help to write down your questions as you think of them so you don't forget.

I hope your surgery goes well on the 14th and that they get all the cancer.

Wishing you all the best xx

  • Welcome to the forum, so sorry you find yourself here. We’re all here to help each other, to share our experiences and answer the questions you have so ask away, so much better than traveling the internet for answers x here if you want to share anything and good luck for 14/9 Heart

  • Thank you.  All seems rather overwhelming

  • Hi Mary, so sorry to hear you have breast cancer, this is the right place for silly questions, advice and support so ask away, bet you many of us have asked the same questions and perhaps we can now help you, it's the most scary time, we have all been there, you are not alone.  Love from Ann

  • Hi at first it is definitely overwhelming but day by day it gets easier and connecting with people on here who are going through the same thing as you really helps.  Your surgery isn't too far away and after that hopefully you will feel a lot better - just knowing it's out of your body really helps.

    Sending hugs x
