Hi RoxiNaz, I know you can have the most supportive and loving people in your life but at times like these you do feel weirdly alone…….that’s were forums like this come in, we all understand because we have all experienced similar feelings and thoughts ( and still do )……but, it does help to know you are not alone. I tell myself the worst is over- tumour/cancer has gone, im cancer free, but i still feel as though my feet haven’t touched ground - its like a rollercoaster xx
I totally agree….I try to tell myself that the cancer has actually gone, as you say, cancer free, but don’t feel free…..waiting to find out what chemo is needed is dragging me down again…..I want to get off this rollercoaster now! x
Even though i had my surgery 4 weeks this Wednesday, its not fully gone in yet, my cancer has gone... I too am waiting for radiotherapy and bone destiny scan... Its been a rollercoaster of emotions and im not finished yet.. x
I'm like you too. Tomorrow is 8 weeks since surgery. Yes the cancer is gone and I'm awaiting my radiotherapy to start but the emotional roller-coaster carries on even though we may not want to play on It! People on here are very supportive and provide reassurance and hints and tips and answer those daft questions we have but aren't that daft as we think. You aren't on your own, we are all here to listen and help where we can.
It’s like you desperately need to know you are not the only one going on this emotional and at times confusing and frightening ‘ride’…..we are all here to support each other whichever way we can.
