Lumpectomy and axillary lymph node clearance

Morning ahh thank you for your reply..iv settled down now.lol…iv no idea why the needle was such a big thing to me..I really don’t mind jabs..lol strange how your head goes into overdrive when your told the littlest things..iv got my ore op today and injection nxt Tuesday ready for Wednesday op..I’ll let you know how my jab went lol..

Is anyone having or had their lymph nodes removed when 1 was positive?

I am I had one sentinel node with micromets. I am chosing clearance over radiotherapy I think.

Thanks for replying.  I was just told the next stage is removal of all the lymph nodes.  

hello, i had 2 nodes removedwhen i went in for my lumpectomy on the 7th july. I go back on the 26th July for my biopsy results to find out if i have to have more nodes removed or whether i have radiotherapy..

Good luck with your surgery hope all goes well what date is it? I meet the surgeon on 21st July surgery planned for 27th. Still sore from my previous surgery.
