Hello, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in April. I had a lumpectomy in May, I am now waiting to see the oncologist and the way forward with treatment. The thought of chemo is petrifying me.
Hi, surgery was ok still a bit sore 6 weeks on, I also had two lymph nodes removed one had some cancer cells. My appointment for oncologist is the 7th July, it's the unknown at the minute... Surgery was the easy bit for me. Get plenty of rest. Good luck .

Hi JT52
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer. While chemo isn’t easy it is doable. You’ll be given lots of help by your medical team if you need it. You’ll be given numbers to ring if things get too bad. Your oncologist team will do everything in their power to make sure you get better.
Wishing you the best of luck with your treatment when you start it.
