Hello All
I am new here and not sure how to navigate the site yet properly. I cant remember dates unless I refer to my dairy. My scheduled Mammogram appointment in May this year came back with a query. I was called to King's college Hospital, had another Mammogram done, scan and biopsy taken. Long story short, it was diagnosed as breast cancer. Had a mastectomy of right breast, followed by bone scan and CT CAP scan. I am awaiting results to see if the cancer has spread. I am scared of what the result will be however also bracing myself to accept whatever is coming my way.
Hi Namgal
Welcome to our Community. You have navigated the site perfectly well and found the best place to post. I am sorry you have been diagnosed with breast cancer, have had a mastectomy and are awaiting the results of further scans. I live with metastatic TNBC and the last few years of my life have brought many scans. The anxiety each time doesn’t change. It’s a perfectly normal result of uncertainty and of fear of what may be found. I hope you don’t have to wait too long for the results and the outcome is not as bad as you fear.
