Hello All Wave tone4

I am new here and not sure how to navigate the site yet properly. I cant remember dates unless I refer to my dairy. My scheduled Mammogram appointment in May this year came back with a query. I was called to King's college Hospital, had another Mammogram done, scan and biopsy taken. Long story short, it was diagnosed as breast cancer. Had a mastectomy of right breast, followed by bone scan and CT CAP scan. I am awaiting results to see if the cancer has spread. I am scared Scream of what the result will be however also bracing myself to accept whatever is coming my way.

  • Hi

Welcome to our Community. You have navigated the site perfectly well and found the best place to post. I am sorry you have been diagnosed with breast cancer, have had a mastectomy and are awaiting the results of further scans. I live with metastatic TNBC and the last few years of my life have brought many scans. The anxiety each time doesn’t change. It’s a perfectly normal result of uncertainty and of fear of what may be found. I hope you don’t have to wait too long for the results and the outcome is not as bad as you fear.
