Hi.

I've been diagnosed with breast cancer. Still getting tears done. My head is a bit mixed up

  • Hi, I had my diagnosis of breast cancer today.  It’s going to be an emotional rollercoaster no doubt.

  • Hi Crazycats123

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It’s perfectly understandable that your head is all over the place. I know when I found a lump in my left breast last year my head was all over the place. Breast cancer is very treatable these days particularly when caught early enough.

Once you have a treatment plan in place things will get a little easier as you know you are starting to fight back against this illness. Your medical team. Will look after you very well and will do everything in their power to help you get better.

Be kind to yourself. While the journey is not easy it is doable. If you have any questions I will be happy to answer them. I’m on this site everyday.

Wishing you the best of luck with whatever treatment your medical team decide to give you.

    Best wishes

    Hi

I was diagnosed back in March. Now I’m after operation and preparing myself and my family for chemo. Emotionally drained but I have at least few weeks to myself. My biggest fear is to loose my hair.

I ve also had my diagnosis confirmed this week, no treatment plan in place as awaiting my biopsy results. It’s so much to take on board isn’t i. Tears are ok, at times it all just washes over doesn’t it? Do you have support?

I was also diagnosed this week, it’s a lot to get your head around isn’t it? I think you can only go one thing at a time. Good luck with treatment x

Hi, I finally got my results today. The last couple of weeks my emotions were all over the place! Now I have my treatment plan I feel more positive and am ready to start kicking this cancers butt. The not knowing really is the hardest thing.

Sending lots of love and hugs

  • Hi. I may be in a similar place. Diagnosis just happened on Monday gone, I have a treatment plan with consultant on Monday 21st. Head also mixed up. What status is your cancer?

    Hi.
Fully agree. Not knowing was the worst part so far. Once they give me a plan I felt much better. I can organise my life around my treatment as much as I can. I know that there will be days ahead of my very hard but …. this is my life for next few months.

all people so nice and supportive in each department of the hospital, sometimes it’s so difficult to not to cry….
