I'm not an expert, but I think this is more of an advanced or specialist nurse.  

She will probably be a Breast Cancer nurse. My experience of them so far is that they are knowledgeable and very supportive. Don't worry! xx

There are nurses who work in the screening programme and offer advice and support, I would doubt if the diagnosis is cancer that your appointment would be just with a nurse, it should be with a consultant with the nurse present, but each area organises these services slightly differently.
