Hi everyone, I am a survivor, I’m two years post surgery and have just had another all clear mammogram yay Blush. I had a 4cm tumour which was removed with wide local excision  and I had radiotherapy too. My surgeon has asked me again (I said no previously) if I would now consider a referral to plastics for sBlushr revision and lipofilling. One breast is considerably smaller than the other. Has anyone else had this and what is the recovery time? Stay safe a well everyone Blush

  • Hi

I'm glad to read that you've recently had another clear mammogram, that must have been such a relief!

I don't have any experience with lipofilling but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. This is probably because this is such an active group that it has slipped off the first page before someone with the right experience has seen it. Replying to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.

While you're waiting for replies if you type 'lipofilling' into the group search bar at the top of the page you'll find lots of previous posts on this topic. You could have a look through some of them and reply to any of the more recent posters if you think they could help you further.

Wishing you all the best with whatever you decide to do.

Thank you x I’m just not sure what to do, whether to leave it as it is or go forward with more surgery x

  • Congratulations on getting your 2nd year all clear I am due my 2nd year mammogram in July. I do not know anything about lipofilling.  But I too am very uneven with a very large breast and much smaller Breast. I was due to have a breast reduction last June but that never happened due to Covid and I have heard nothing since. I have not followed it up as unsure after all this time do I want more surgery but can I live being uneven for rest of my life.
