Hi I am new to the group. I am Diagnosed with breast cancer I’ve had the lump removed and reconstruction of my right boo.
It's been very isolated not having anyone to talk to. The scaryest experience I have ever had in my life.
I am recovering and waiting for the test results and treatment.
Hi Five Star,
Welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. It is a scary time so it’s good to come on here and chat to others going through the same experience.
I am currently awaiting results from my lymph node removal and which course of treatment I’ll be having. I have had a lumpectomy to remove the lump but one of the three lymph nodes they removed was positive so I had surgery to remove the rest last week, to determine staging and treatment.
Waiting is making me anxious but I’m trying to keep busy reading, watching telly and walking. How long do you have to wait for your results? I still have 10 days to wait.
Best wishes
Kazco
I have to wait 12 weeks for my results to come back
Hi Five star and welcome to the group.
Sorry to hear that you’ve been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I’m also sorry that you have to wait so long to get your results, 12 weeks seems an very long time to be waiting, I only had to wait two weeks for mine after my operation.
wishing you the best of luck with your results and know you are not alone in this, there is plenty of support out there for those of us with Cancer.
Best wishes
