    Hi Sharon

Good luck with everything x I was diagnosed back in April and found it overwhelming and scary as well. Remember to take each day as it comes and just do what feels right.

Be guided by your consultant and breast nurse who are very much there to support you.

i was recommended to take notes and ask questions as sometimes you forget at the appointments.

I have had a lumpectomy and lymph node removal two weeks ago and im doing fine...

You will be well cared for.

And its definitely more about the waiting when you are first  diagnosed, once you have your options it does get easier i promise.

    xx

This is a great place to share and get support!!

  • Hi Sharon

Welcome and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with Breast and lymph node cancer. I was diagnosed last September with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. The cancer was in both my left breast and in the lymph nodes under my arm. I had 8 cycles of chemo as well as a lumpectomy and removal of two of my lymph nodes. Because there was some cancer left in one of my lymph nodes my oncologist has put me on chemo tablets for about six months. I’m also having Radiotherapy at the moment. Luckily my cancer hasn’t spread so I’m now in remission. The further treatment is to prevent reaccurance.

Like you I was determined to beat it. It wasn’t an easy road at times but it was doable.

Wishing you the best of luck for your treatments.

    Best wishes

    Daisy xx
