Hello. I'm new on here. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in early 2016. Went through chemo and had bilateral mastectomy and axillary lymph node dissection. One lymph node in my chest showed abnormal on CT scan. After 5 years of targeted therapies every three weeks another lymph node showed up and a PET scan followed by a biopsy confirmed the same cancer HER2+. Now waiting for a date for surgery to have them removed. Finding this diagnosis more difficult to cope with than the original, as at that time I just told myself I would be cured. Nothing to be done of course, except try to remain positive but it isn't easy.
