Hi I recently had surgery for for a sentinel node removal and a lumpectomy for invasive breast cancer.
every thing has happened so fast I am still trying to get my head around it.
i was wondering if anyone has some advice. My operation was on Tuesday, yesterday I noticed a small red lump like a stop under my breast near where the incision is. This morning it popped and I now have the plastic wire hanging out ?
I have tried contacting the breast care team but it is Sunday and no one around.
i was wondering if it has happened to anyone else and any advise.
thanks
Hi gall
its feels more plastic than a wire. Somebody said it may be the stitch’s . So I think you may be right I will call 111 and ask for advise.
