Hi Everyone
I had my appointment at the hospital this morning after finding a lump and because of my age (20) they did an ultra sound. The lady told me that she could feel the lump but could not see it on the ultra sound and that it just looked like normal tissue which I was very relieved about however when I went to the consultation the doctor felt it and was concerned so took a core needle biopsy. Has anyone else experienced this? This was the first time ever having a local anesthetic and I was beyond belief at how amazing it was. Injecting that was the most painful thing as it stings a little but it was totally worth it after seeing that biopsy needle. Now later in the day I am not in any pain but brushing has come up which I believe is normal.
Does anyone know roughly when I will get my results? It's my 21st on Tuesday and I want to enjoy that incase it's bad news.
I wish you all best in the future and for you all to know you are amazing people.
Hi Queeniebee
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you may have cancer. Like MrsPolly said it’s about a two week wait for the results so go ahead and enjoy your Birthday celebrations.
Wishing you all the best with your biopsy results and hopefully it will be benign.
Let us know how you get on with your results.
Best wishes
Daisy
