Waiting for Diagnosis

I didn’t have a drain in at all as surgeon didn’t put one in after surgery but they drained it using a needle. I still have days it doesn’t seem real and then some odd days I don’t even think about it. My family are worried and upset but keeping positive for me. I am sleeping well now my swelling has gone. How are you sleeping?

There’s a family and friends group that your husband might be interested in joining to get support from others in a similar position to himself.

Hi my operation is on the 7th July. Worried about lymphedema developing in my arm after Axillary lymph node clearance. Good luck everyone receiving results tomorrow xx

Glad to hear that you have a date for your surgery. There’s information on the Macmillan website on reducing your risk is lymphodema.

Got a voicemail this morning saying not all my lab work had been done or received and so they were rescheduling my appointment to next Thursday. 

I'm absolutely devastated.  I had been holding it together ready for whatever today would bring. 

Now I hate somehow psych myself up n hold it together for another 8 days....

I'm exhausted as it is...
