Hello all, I had a core biopsy yesterday and now face the 2 week wait for results! I am already struggling to sleep or eat because of the the fear of the outcome,I feel in a constant state of panic. I had breast cancer 26 years ago, my successful treatment was a mastectomy and course of tamoxifen, so I thought I’d seen the back of it after all this time......Any suggestions as to how to calm myself down would be more than welcome.

My best advice would be to immerse yourself in any hobbies or interest that you have so you're not sitting around just thinking about your diagnosis.
Lots of people find mindfulness really helpful and if this is something that you think you might like to try then clicking on this link will take you to the NHS mental health apps page which has a list of mindfulness apps, some of which are free.
You might also find it helpful looking through this information on how to ease worry when waiting for medical results.
