Hi I was diagnosed with breast cancer last Tuesday. I havnt been well for a few months, lack of appetite no energy and have lost a stone in weight. Had blood tests at Dr's and only low on folic acid. A week later felt a tender spot on my breast and could feel a small lump. After mammograms and biopsy was diagnosed with triple negative. I'm having a ct scan Sunday to check rest of body due to weight loss. I have 2 lumps in same breast so got to have mastectomy. I am trying to stay positive but what a roller coaster of emotions you go through feeling fine one minute crying the next. My mum died at 34 from breast cancer and my younger sister is 4 years in she's doing well. It's good to be in contact with others going through the same thing.

  • Hi Juju54, I know exactly how you feel and have been on that journey myself starting 3 years ago. Please stay positive, the treatment is wonderful and there is so much research going on. It’s now two years sinde my treatment finished. I did find that my blog helped me get through it. Good luck Sparkling heartSparkling heart

  • Hi Juju54

Welcom to the forum and sorry that you have been diagnosed with Triple Negative. Sorry about your Mum a and Sister. I’m glad your sister is doing well after four years.  I was diagnosed with Triple Negative last September and had 8 sessions of chemo, 4 of AC and 4 of Taxol. It only natural to feel like you are on a rollercoaster as between scans, blood tests and meeting your oncologist it can feel like that.

Just take it one day at a time and I’m here everyday if you just need to talk.

Best of luck with your CT Scan and with your treatments.

    Best wishes

  • Hi Juju54

I just wanted to say Ido understand what you must be going through right now and you are not alone. Its alot to take in and your emotions will be all over the place.

Take 1 day at a time and if you have people supporting you - lean on them when you need to and dont suffer in silence xx
