Hi I've recently had a breast lump removed and im waiting for the biospy results. I just cant find any good information about the breast lump that I have and because there is little information and all I've read is that it's rare I'm freaking out. My lump has been described as a B3 vascular lesion 35mm in size, could be seen not only felt. Does anyone know what this could be and please put me at ease? Thank you xxx
Hi and so sorry you are going through this.
The first thing I want to say is please don't google things as a lot of information is outdated or incorrect.
If you haven't been told the lump is cancerous then it's possible the biopsy results will come back as benign as most lumps end up being non cancerous.
I don't think there is much you can find out or be told by your doctors until the biopsy results are in. I know it's super stressful but remember that it could be nothing and even if it is cancer, breast cancer is very treatable these days with most of us becoming and staying cancer free. I asked my breast care nurse what proportion of us permanently beat this and her response was 'the vast majority' but you just don't hear about all those ladies out there living cancer free lives.
Really hope your biopsy results show it's nothing to worry about. Keep posting if you need to talk and let us know how you get on. x
