Hi. On the 19th March I had a routine mammogram. 1st April I went for further tests at the Breast Clinic where they did further mammograms, ultrasound and biopsies. 16th April I was told that I definitely have Breast Cancer. Tomorrow, 19th April, I will see my oncologist for the first time.
I can't remember everything that was said to me on Friday, but I do know the next year is going to be hard.
I really can't believe how quickly everything has happened!!!

es on here has helped me because I was traumatised. Things have got easier because I know that the NHS are helping me and will look after me. The care I’ve had so far has been amazing but I know I’vgot a long journey ahead. Wishing you all the best with your treatment and good luck for tomorrow.Lisa X

I got the impression that my chemo will start almost immediately as my 'lump' is the very aggressive type...
Seems strange as I don't feel ill
