New bilateral breast cancer diagnosis

I got home yesterday from hospitals 

had bilateral wide excision and sentinel node biopsy.

have to wait a week to ten days for histology and treatment plan. 
feeling a bit sore and tearful today.

any tips on getting through the next week without worrying too much appreciated!!

It’s so hard and to be honest I really struggle but I think the best advice so far from the ladies on here to me was take each day as  it comes and that is helping. Also the bcn told me to stay off ogle because I was traumatised from reading all the breast cancer info on there. I make sure I go for a long walk every day and I am getting comfort from herbal teas Twinings do one called a moment calm for days and pukka do a really good night time tea in purple box. I had real problems sleeping but since my diagnosis it has improved. I have a bread mri on Wednesday and next week an underarmltrasound and then back with the consultant. So many tests and the waiting as every lady will tell you is so hard. I do feel scared but I feel blessed that my cancer was found I had no symptoms, no mp found at first mammogram. If you feel nervous or scared before appointments practice deep breathing a lady on here told me that and it really helped me. Your not alone please message any time I w in a very dark place before I found this group. I wish you a peaceful and relaxing week please let me know how things go. Lisa X️
